Therapy for a warming world
We’re a crew of artists and scientists with an idea:
What if people (or entities) could process their collective anxiety, grief, and frustrations about our changing climate in a “group-therapy” setting—without it being, you know, actual therapy?
Our mission
😂 Mix humor with empathy (keep it funny, keep it human)
🧩 Break big ideas into bite-sized, easy-to-digest pieces
🙌 Make climate concepts feel mainstream—stuff people actually say and share
💬 Use casual, plain language (skip the jargon and acronyms)
🎢 Acknowledge the emotional side: anxiety, grief, denial, hope, whiplash
🌍 Feature diverse characters, backgrounds, and viewpoints
💡 Create “oh wow, that’s me” moments viewers can relate to and root for

Why comics?
Climate science is complicated—and lately, it’s become a pretty polarizing topic. We get it. Scientists have been working hard to communicate outside of academic and technical circles, but a lot of past efforts have leaned on the “knowledge gap” idea: if people just had more information, they’d be on board.
But people don’t absorb facts passively. We filter what we hear through our lived experiences, values, and communities.
That’s where comics come in. With climate-themed comics, we want to ease the stigma around the words “climate change,” spark sharing and conversation, and help turn curiosity into action. By putting the comics out in the world—on social media, online, and eventually (fingers crossed) in print—we hope to reach audiences who might never pick up a report or watch a lecture.
Learning about our planet’s climate—and what we can do about it—shouldn’t feel like homework. It should feel approachable, meaningful, and even fun.
